I love the "okay" days. It is now two days into the year 2023. And in two days, the children's Christmas break will be over. Already I am missing the in-between days of Christmas and New Year. For me, they are the okay days - it's okay to wake up late and wear pyjamas all day. It's okay to be lazy and call it rest. It's all right to order food and have late lunch. I am loving the cool climate and it's okay to throw on a cozy sweater. These days are slow, but still making memories. I wish it's … [Read more...]
The Year That Was, Cymplified!
Twelve days into the new year 2022... (the time I started penning this, and my husband has the Covid symptoms) and things seem to be still grey and dreary. I'm waiting on the new hope that a fresh year is supposed to bring. The beginning of the year that was 2021 ringed in a glimmer of promise of some sort of normalcy as the vaccines rolled in. After 2020 saw lockdowns when agencies and most people acknowledged the virus. We got jabbed. Early on in 2021, my husband and I got our first … [Read more...]

January served us the terrible Australian bushfire, the threat of war, some individuals ending their lives. It came with the ashfall from a stirring Taal Volcano, earthquakes and the spread of the Novel Coronavirus that … [Read more...]
Appreciating the Uncomfortable, Cymplified!

Most people, if not all, want to live a comfortable life. Parents, most of all, desire for their children to live comfortably. It would break their hearts to see their offsprings in an uncomfortable, if not, hurtful situation. There are many things that could make us squirm or cringe. Change could be uncomfortable. Love And Family Bible Verse, Cymplified!
about love Love leads the establishment of marriages and the formation of families. Constant commitment stabilize families. To commit is to decide to love each other every single day. 1 John 4:7-12 (NIV) 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live … [Read more...]
It’s Not Fair by Melanie Dale, Cymplified!
"It's not fair!" It's been whined countless times by children. Grown-ups are more careful saying this in order for them to seem mature. But, deep down inside, all of us have a desire to scream it out when unfortunate things happen to us. Usually, we scream it at God. "God, why is her husband sweeter? It's not fair!" "God, why don't I have a lovely home? It's not fair!" "God, why are my dreams not coming true? It's not fair!" It's Not Fair by Melanie Dale promised to be a friend, a … [Read more...]
