Resurrect with Jesus on Easter, Cymplified!

April 18, 2015 by ceemee

easter coloring page preview

Easter is like a new year for believers and followers of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! It's a day to die to self and live forĀ God. It's a day to write or rewrite goals and resolutions in serving the Lord. It's a day to be reminded of the new life that God purchased for me through Jesus. It's a day to be grateful for that new life, a new chance. I know I'm more than a … [Read more...]

Although they are different from each other, they live harmoniously. They have all that they need; plenty of space, sunshine, water and food. They are blessed with an environment that is beautiful and good. The trees make great shelters, they are all healthy and sturdy. Their leaves look like unique crowns, they … [Read more...]

Where God Is, Cymplified!

where God is

There will be trials. There will be tribulation. There will be sorrow. There will be separation. Now, with the ugly There'll come the bad. And you're wont to ask, "Where is God? Does he look away When my life's amiss?" To you, my friend I tell you this: He is in each tear that slides down each cheek, When wounds are raw and the horizon looks bleak. He's in each smile of the children, each twinkle in each eye, While running on the grass and swinging under the blue sky. He's in … [Read more...]

One Statement Instead Of One Word, Cymplified!

January 8, 2015 by ceemee

one statement instead of one word

Happy new year! How's your 2015 so far? It's that time again for resolutions, goals, and that one word of guidance. I had my "one word" for the past two years. Technically, that makes it two words, right? They were shine and freedom. Both helped me become more intentional in parenting and in the way I want to live.   Purge Before 2014 ended, I was already thinking about my one word. What will it be? My freedom was not yet achieved in the aspect of clutter of the home and of … [Read more...]

Kindergarten, Cymplified!

November 17, 2014 by ceemee

Last school year, Ella graduated from Kindergarten. It signaled the end of her preschool years. We might think that Kindergarten is all fun and games, just playing and singing. But, surprisingly, it's not. Believe it or not, Kindergarten gave my eldest a little taste of the real world. And it's not just more assigned tasks to work on. Ella likes to draw, My Little Pony characters specifically. Naturally, she does that in school during breaks or dismissal. One of her … [Read more...]

Kids’ Handiwork: Cardboard Castle

October 23, 2014 by ceemee

kids handiwork cardboard castle title

Last two Sundays ago, my eldest told me, out of the blue, that she wanted to make a castle, using cardboard. I admit I'm not a very crafty person. In fact, I'm all thumbs when it comes to cutting, pasting or sewing! But, of course I don't want to say 'no.' So I "enlisted" the help of YouTube and wikiHow to aid us in making a haven of sorts for her My Little Pony figures and others. Here's one of the kids' handiwork: a cardboard castle. I will post the links to the tutorials for simple … [Read more...]
