Thank God for Rix who went with the flow of my whim to visit Nuvali, Laguna. I have long wanted to visit the place. My family of five plus two helpers trooped to the South and got some sun while we fed the perpetually hungry fish. We also rode the boat for a bit of adventure. They have a trail for bikers, too. I wish I had googled the things to do in Nuvali and visited the exhibit there. I have just been reading about feeding the koi fish and mainly enjoying the outdoors with children. Then, … [Read more...]
End Of A (Breastfeeding) Journey, Cymplified!
Rivers of tears were flowing from her eyes and heart, at three in the morning. The baby in her arms was begging for breastmilk, crying and squirming. The only comfort they both knew, was taken away by the need for medication. She wished that for weaning a baby off breastfeeding, there was also education. Her chest was wrung and constricted with guilt and great sadness. The end of their journey was just beginning and already she felt helpless. Inhaling deeply, she said to herself, "This would … [Read more...]

One of the ways I could obtain confidence is to accept that I am beautiful. God wouldn't make anyone and anything which is not beautiful. I believe that true beauty exudes from within. Our attitude towards beauty must come from … [Read more...]
Five Birthday Reflections, Cymplified!

Time is a good teacher of many lessons in life. Maturing opens my eyes and makes me realize that : • I really have so much to be thankful for, really. I cannot complain and compare. To each her own blessings. • Every … [Read more...]

It's about respectfulness and how to control being so controlling of our children that we unintentionally disrespect them as a result. PARENTAL RESPECT There’s a common problem in many homes today. Disrespect. Refusing to consider each other’s opinions, interrupting when someone’s talking, never apologizing for a mistake. … [Read more...]
