We are not put in the world to be comfortable ALL.THE.TIME. How do we go about appreciating the uncomfortable? But, who wants to be uncomfortable, right? I know I don't! Most people, if not all, want to live a comfortable life. Parents, most of all, desire for their children to live comfortably. Hope For Picky Eaters, Cymplified!
Almost all moms become frustrated when it happens. They were doing everything according to the doctors', their friends', other moms', online articles' recommendations on feeding their children. Naturally, it comes as a surprise when some kids will suddenly reject food that they were gobbling up just days before. It's even more of a surprise when I say that there's hope for picky eaters. July Birthdays, Cymplified!
July birthdays this year are sentimental for me. The idea of celebrations excite me, yet knowing that two of my children will be older, tugs at my heart. Nickerbacher Chapter Book by Terry John Barto, Cymplified!
I first read the story of Nickerbacher, the funniest dragon as a picture book. It was a pleasant surprise to learn about the new Nickerbacher chapter book. Playing Dress-Up Last October, Cymplified!
I think that playing dress-up is innate in every child; most of them wouldn't hesitate to don wings or capes. Is it their idea of fun or they just want to escape reality for a while? I read somewhere that children have things figured out. I would add that they could get away with it, too! That's how my kids are. I remember my boy wearing my Ugg boots, an upside-down Jollibee bucket as his helmet and a sword in his hand. Here is my youngest, dressing up as a princess, then a … [Read more...]

Today, I am featuring my friend, Beth on The Master and Her Piece. It’s an interview I do with women who inspire me and others to live and create better.
