When I was much younger, I loved to compose poems. Especially ones that rhyme. I have the notebook to prove it. As I read it now, they seem childish and shallow. But, it felt great to create and create, even without showing them to anyone. I didn't need any approval. Recently, when I write poems or draw or paint using watercolor, these ideas do not flow as well as before. There's something hindering me from even starting and taking the first step. Probably myself or the doubt that it … [Read more...]
Parents’ Christmas, Cymplified!
the parents' Christmas lists 'Twas the year before Christmas, and all through the world, plan-ahead parents are writing down potential gifts for their family and friends. The parents' Christmas translate to seemingly endless lists. A list of the gifts the mommy, the daddy and the children were given. Doing this gives them the idea of what to expect or the amount they could reciprocate in kind. Also, the past gifts that the family gave out, so there'd be no duplicate. I confess I do not do … [Read more...]
Family Getaway: Romantic Hillcreek Gardens Tagaytay, Cymplified!
The first reason I snapped up a deal for an overnight stay in Hillcreek Gardens Tagaytay on Deal Grocer is because the room offered has two queen-size beds, perfect for our family of five... Family Day Out: Sweat It Out At Okada Play, Cymplified!

To the dad who would not miss the birth of his child for work or for the world, who is there to ensure his newborn is well-taken care of right from the start. He is there when his wife is recovering... Providing her with everything she … [Read more...]

Appreciating the Uncomfortable, Cymplified!
We are not put in the world to be comfortable ALL.THE.TIME. How do we go about appreciating the uncomfortable? But, who wants to be uncomfortable, right? I know I don't! Most people, if not all, want to live a comfortable life. Parents, most of all, desire for their children to live comfortably. It would break their hearts to see their offsprings in an uncomfortable, if not, hurtful situation. There are many things that could make us squirm or cringe. Change could be uncomfortable. So … [Read more...]
