Wife After God By Jennifer Smith, Cymplified!

wife after God review

I believe that there's always room for improvement in each of us. We can always be better versions of ourselves. We can always do better in each of our own roles. I can be better in my role as a wife. I can be a better wife with God's help. That's how @unveiledwife's Wife After God 30 day marriage devotional has been an instrument in my aim to improve as a wife. This devotional encourages Christian wives to "draw closer to God and to their husbands". I know that people say, "If it ain't broke, … [Read more...]

Family Day Out: Fun Farm at Sta. Elena, Cymplified!

January 28, 2015 by ceemee

quote at the fun farm

My wish to visit this Fun Farm at Sta. Elena in Laguna came true when we headed to the South one day. I thought it would be fun to let the children experience being outdoors and on a farm. They like animals. Never mind that there were carabao dung piles scattered about, it's quite fun and funny for them, actually. My kids, they laugh at even mere mention of poop! Our first stop was the bunny and guinea pig feeding area. The fluffy creatures were so adorable! I missed my pet rabbits. There was … [Read more...]

Replacing Complaints With Thankfulness, Cymplified!

January 18, 2015 by ceemee

thankfulness, cymplified

She sat on their leather sofa and placed her head on the arm rest. When she was younger, she used to daydream, a lot! Nowadays, just a few minutes of being seated, staring into space, letting random thoughts rush through her brain was becoming quite the luxury. Her eyes moved to the plates with cookies, croissants and a pie. There were toppled plastic cups, a kettle and several vegetables. All of these were scattered on the floor, next to the white and violet dollhouse where they belong. The … [Read more...]

Book description from BookLook Bloggers: Alyssa Pennington dated Brendan Myers for three years before she accepted his proposal. For almost a year, Alyssa's friends and family helped her plan a lovely wedding to take place in the church she'd grown up in. It was the happiest day of her life when she walked down the aisle to be united with the man of her dreams. But when Brendan left her at the altar, Alyssa was consumed by humiliation, embarrassment, and a broken heart that wouldn't allow her to … [Read more...]

One Statement Instead Of One Word, Cymplified!

January 8, 2015 by ceemee

one statement instead of one word

Happy new year! How's your 2015 so far? It's that time again for resolutions, goals, and that one word of guidance. I had my "one word" for the past two years. Technically, that makes it two words, right? They were shine and freedom. Both helped me become more intentional in parenting and in the way I want to live.   Purge Before 2014 ended, I was already thinking about my one word. What will it be? My freedom was not yet achieved in the aspect of clutter of the home and of … [Read more...]

Sun-kissed In December, Cymplified!

January 3, 2015 by ceemee

hanging bridge @ pico de loro

December was a flurry of shopping and soirées, and sometimes, lunches. Add to that Ella and Caleb's Christmas break, and it had seemed that every new toy (gift) at home will be played with. Good thing there was a respite from "cabin fever", and this breather was planned by my hubby Rix. It was an out-of-town trip back to Pico de Loro. I was happy for the kids, because they could go swimming and play by the beach. :-) The hours waiting for the sun to hide before we could swim again … [Read more...]
