Cymple Days Love {kids+food}, Cymplified!

December 13, 2012 by ceemee

motherhood musings

Cymple days love are ordinary moments I have at home, but are filled with messages of love from God, my hubby or my children. Here's a round-up of photos that inspire and motivate me to continue blooming where I am planted. Cymple Days Love {kids+food} From the top, Watching TV with my baby boy, he loves to sit on my lap. My two princesses love to hug and kiss each other. I cooked maki noodles one day, I'm glad my picky children found it agreeable with their … [Read more...]

Family Day Out: Family Picnic, Cymplified!

August 31, 2012 by ceemee

family picnic

I have always dreamed of having a weekly family picnic. I think it would do the children loads of good to run on the grass, climb a few trees (maybe), and to inhale fresh air that we sorely lack here in the city. Well, a part of that dream came true when we had a family picnic fun photo-shoot one Sunday. Prior to that, my 5-year-old prayed with me to Jesus and we asked Him to please hold off the rain. And He answered our prayer! Hooray! Although I didn't get to eat anything while we're on the … [Read more...]

Contentment and Ambitions, Cymplified!

June 23, 2012 by ceemee

In between counting my blessings and drafting goals for my family, I came across these questions that I hopefully could find the answers to, if it is God's will. Contented \kən-ˈten-təd\ adjective : feeling or showing satisfaction with one's possessions, status, or situation If a person's basic needs, which are a roof over his head, clean clothes on his back and food for every day, are supplied, should he be content? 1 Timothy 6:5-7 (NIV) 5 and constant friction between people of … [Read more...]

Tangled, Cymplified!

February 29, 2012 by ceemee

tangled rapunzel

I loved Tangled the first time I saw it! The cast was adorable, especially Maximus. I think that as more Disney princess movies were made, the princesses have more personality. The music for the part where Rapunzel and the townsfolk were dancing reminds me so much of an instrumental track in The Corrs' album. This led me to conclude that they might be Irish. Then again, I might be wrong. If you love Disney's Tangled, there's a cute blog about it, welovetangled.tumblr.com. The problem … [Read more...]

Embrace The Season, Cymplified!

February 19, 2012 by ceemee

Doubting... ...is how I find myself some days. And who wouldn't, when the children get sick? When my pre-schooler gets mad at me, and I am at a loss how to respond. When my one-year-old doesn't speak yet and I wonder why. When my baby cries and somehow I cannot seem to soothe her. Questions cloud my mind. Am I doing something wrong? Am I really cut out for motherhood? I would wonder why God gave me three children when I seem to be a terrible mom. One thing leads to another and … [Read more...]

Chinese New Year {2012}, Cymplified!

January 30, 2012 by ceemee

Lunar or Chinese New Year was being celebrated in the Philippines for the longest time. It was just this year that it was declared a non-working holiday by Pnoy. It used to be only the Chinese school students and employees of some Chinese businesses who enjoyed a day without classes or work, respectively. I seem to recollect that New Year's day usually falls on a day in February. It's becoming earlier and earlier each year, like the Holy Week.  I use Instagram These elements are always … [Read more...]
