During this time, my son was very into sea animals. There was an app called ABC Aquarium which he loved. It supplemented his knowledge of the alphabet. His letter A stands for anemone, his B is for beluga, and his C is for coral, etc. I knew he would enjoy if we visited Manila Ocean Park. This was also a post birthday treat for him and his achi. Glad there was an online deal, although, it's sad that some were not operational. These were the attractions that we visited and the shows that we … [Read more...]
The Royal Palm by Mrs. D, Cymplified!
The Royal Palm is the second book that I got to review from the book blast I participated in that was hosted by Mother Daughter Book Reviews. What is this book about? A thought-provoking tale of the journey of a royal palm born on a tiny island surrounded by mysterious waters. This tender story explores the world of someone wrapped up in herself. Protected by her cousins, the short plain palms, the royal palm grew up beautiful, but very self-centered. Dreaming about life outside the … [Read more...]

Family Day Out: Fun Farm at Sta. Elena, Cymplified!
My wish to visit this Fun Farm at Sta. Elena in Laguna came true when we headed to the South one day. I thought it would be fun to let the children experience being outdoors and on a farm. They like animals. Never mind that there were carabao dung piles scattered about, it's quite fun and funny for them, actually. My kids, they laugh at even mere mention of poop! Our first stop was the bunny and guinea pig feeding area. The fluffy creatures were so adorable! I missed my pet rabbits. There was … [Read more...]

Replacing Complaints With Thankfulness, Cymplified!
She sat on their leather sofa and placed her head on the arm rest. When she was younger, she used to daydream, a lot! Nowadays, just a few minutes of being seated, staring into space, letting random thoughts rush through her brain was becoming quite the luxury. Her eyes moved to the plates with cookies, croissants and a pie. There were toppled plastic cups, a kettle and several vegetables. All of these were scattered on the floor, next to the white and violet dollhouse where they belong. The … [Read more...]
