Life List, Cymplified!

I have been thinking a lot about what I want to achieve in my lifetime. Some people call this the bucket list, some people call this the life list, one girl called it the mighty life list (she actually built a community around making life lists, helping others create one and work towards checking the items off).

I confess that I am a person with nary a plan for her life. It’s true! I didn’t even plan to get married and now I have a family of my own. Now that I am more mature, I feel the need for direction. I know that God is orchestrating the purpose of my life. And what better time to list down my life goals than on my birthday/birth month, right?

With that said, here is my life list in no particular order and with the ones already crossed out at the top.

  1. Get married to a cute, Christian, Chinese guy 10.2006  😀
  2. Have two children, one boy and one girl God gave us three kids in 2007, 2010, and 2011  🙂

  4. Visit Disneyland in LA 05.1994
  5. Visit Disneyworld in Florida
  6. Visit some parts of China including Hong Kong
  7. Visit Singapore 03.2013, 04.2015
  8. Visit Malaysia 03.2013

  10. Watch a live musical/play
  11. See and touch a real lion (it’s one of my favorite animals) 05.2017
  12. Visit Disneyland with Rix and the kids

  14. Visit New Zealand
  15. Visit Cebu, stay at Shangri-La, Mactan
  16. Visit Boracay 01.2023
  17. Visit Palawan
  18. Visit Bohol
  19. Go on a Disney cruise
  20. Own a new home
  21. One that has fresh air
  22. With a fruit and vegetable garden
  23. With a porch and a patio
  24. With my own art/craft/drawing/blogging room 😛
  25. Publish a Christian children’s poem book
  26. Bake yummy cupcakes
  27. Drive the car confidently
  28. Slow dance with my hubby
  29. Experience all the four seasons (Where to see Winter?)
  30. Learn to play the violin
  31. Learn to play the flute
  32. Watch Disney on Ice
  33. Decorate our home with my paintings
  34. Homeschool my children
  35. See my children accept Jesus Christ and get baptized
  36. Go to church every Sunday, as a family
  37. Help low-income women earn more with an earth-friendly business
  38. Make paintings as gifts to my family and friends
  39. Write a novella
  40. Write a song a la Taylor Swift
  41. Write devotionals for women

These are my 42 as I turn 42! You’ll see my list grow as I grow in age. Hehe! 🙂

    I love your list sis. I don’t really have strict plans for our life, but I have simple plans. But I don’t have a list, hehe. I get easily disappointment kasi if I don’t stick with my own plans. May God bless you what you desire 🙂

    I love the line, “God is orchestrating the purpose of my life.” And it is through praying and reading of the Bible that this purpose is revealed to us. Blessed birthday, Ceemee and I too would like to experience the four seasons especially the lovely sakura! 🙂
