Last two Sundays ago, my eldest told me, out of the blue, that she wanted to make a castle, using cardboard. I admit I'm not a very crafty person. In fact, I'm all thumbs when it comes to cutting, pasting or sewing! But, of course I don't want to say 'no.' Family Getaway: Aurora Adventure {part 1}, Cymplified!
This was my last hurrah for the summer of 2014. I went to Baler in Aurora with my hubby and the kids, together with hubby's side of the family tree. A bus was rented and we were on our way on a 5-hour trip to the eastern part of Central Luzon. My wish is that my children will live out kindness. As a follower of Jesus, I need to be a good role model of kindness for them. For a city-dweller like me, there is a need to escape the smog and noise. One of the places I like to go to that is a bit near, has fresh air and cool weather is Tagaytay. The places I have visited in Tagaytay are Tagaytay Highlands, Canyon Woods, Palace in the Sky, People's Park, Picnic Grove, Sky Ranch, a little of Summit Ridge and Mushroomburger. One of the characteristics of God that assures me of His unceasing love is that He's faithful. Because of this, I can be strong in the Lord. My strength comes from God and not from my abilities.
