Mothers Are…, Cymplified!

May 9, 2015 by ceemee

Being a mother makes me acquire a deeper appreciation for my own mom.

When my children were sick, and their temperatures had to be kept down with frequent wiping using wet face towels & paracetamol, I remembered my mom who would come into my room whenever I am ill, with medicine & a glass of water even in the wee hours of the morning.

When I am tutoring my children and helping them do their homework, I think of my mom’s patience with me, although there were times that she got frustrated as I do. Like her, I hope to inspire in my kids the wish to excel in their studies.

When I heat the oil in the pan and sauté the garlic and onions, I start missing my mom’s tasty cooking and her mouthwatering baked creations. Unlike me, she is a talented cook and a wonderful baker!

Even if I am already married and am already out of my parents’ house, she hands me a plastic bag full of canned food, boiled eggs, snacks and sometimes, cake, whenever we go visit. I am thankful for that!

Even if we have differences in opinions, I am blessed to have her as my mother. I know she wants to see me succeed and be happy in my present life. That’s how mothers are!

I love you, Mom!

Mothers are doing the best they can, with what they have and with great love for the good of the family.

Inspired by mothers and their characteristics (strong, beautiful, full of love, sweet, etc.), I created this printable for moms and kids to color and fill in.

The mom’s face is blank so the children could draw in their mommies’ lovely countenance. 🙂

Nice printable, this is nice especially for kids who can’t really draw. I remember my son’s Mother’s Day card last year. I look like a boy, very short hair. hehehe! Happy Mother’s Day!

This is beautiful! What a wonderful idea. I love the blank face for children to fill out their own mother’s features! And what a special testament to your own mom’s loving sacrifice. Thank you for sharing!

This is also so true for me, Cym. Now that I have my own family and we have our own little place of our own, I am reminded of my mom and my mother-in-law whenever I do things around the house…ALWAYS!!! Makes me truly appreciate them more!

This is a sweet thing to do, Cym. I’ll print it out when I get back home. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! 🙂
