Girl With Curls
I know a girl, petite and fair.
She’s a girl with curls.
She likes to comb her hair,
and wear pretty pearls.
I know a girl who likes color
on the nails of her hands;
on her head of curls,
red, pink and violet bands.
I know a girl choosing dresses
over pants and T-shirts.
Round and round she goes,
twirling her princess skirts.
This girl enjoys good music
and sings with good melody.
She throws tantrums sometimes,
but is sweet to her family.
This girl enjoys good movies;
princess ones, new ones, funny ones.
She also likes kids’ TV shows;
like school bus ones and veggie ones.
This girl enjoys good snacks;
bread, cookies, cakes so yummy.
She’s a little snack monster,
very much like her mommy.
Her mommy loves her bright eyes,
her smart head and each adorable curl.
Her mommy loves her soft cheeks and
is thankful for this wonderful li’l girl.
