February 6, 2017 by ceemee

The Big Cheese! Pizza

Quezon Memorial Circle Several families had the same idea as ours. That is to bring the kids to Quezon Memorial Circle on Sunday. The last time I went there, my hubby and I bought plants for his hydroponic garden. The first time I went there was on a date with him as a boyfriend. Who knew that this … [Read more...]

July And Kidzville, Cymplified!

November 20, 2015 by ceemee

july and kidzville decor

Of the children's staying home three days before one weekend because of class suspension. July was a month of broken scanner glass plate. Of nervousness and palpitation. Of pain on the left side of the chest. Of a dark cloud looming overhead. The cloud that is breast cancer. July was a month of Cayla's sudden clinginess … [Read more...]

Calligraphy is so popular these days. There are even fonts being made out of calligraphy. It's different from the Chinese calligraphy that I learned in high school, though. The calligraphy that people over at Instagram do is the art of decorative handwriting. It's the way one writes a certain letter which makes it beautiful, a work of art in itself. I have not tried calligraphy before. I wasn't interested because 1. I have no idea what pens to use. 2. I have poor handwriting. Then, my former … [Read more...]

Googly Gooeys Watercolor & Lettering Workshop, Cymplified!

May 20, 2015 by ceemee

watercolor workshop project

I have been commenting on and following the blog of Googly Gooeys since... I don't know when. I always find it amusing, light-hearted and I could relate with most of the topics. The colorful cartoons the creator Tippy illustrates make me crack a smile or giggle silently. If I laugh too loud, my children would peer into my screen and probably take over my laptop since the site is very eye-catching for kids and for adults who love colors. I mentioned before that I decided to take up watercolor … [Read more...]

May 1, 2015 by ceemee

But let's take a photo first in front of the large rotating globe fountain! Oh, and plenty more photos ahead. Just a warning! Mommy confession: Ella has never been on an Easter Egg Hunt before. It had become a trend in the Philippines for kids to go on one at the end of Holy Week. Much like the … [Read more...]
