Family Day Out: Fish, Nuvali and Tagaytay, Cymplified!

May 2, 2013 by ceemee

Thank God for Rix who went with the flow of my whim to visit Nuvali, Laguna. I have long wanted to visit the place. My family of five plus two helpers trooped to the South and got some sun while we fed the perpetually hungry fish. We also rode the boat for a bit of adventure. They have a trail for bikers, too. I wish I had googled the things to do in Nuvali and visited the exhibit there. I have just been reading about feeding the koi fish and mainly enjoying the outdoors with children.

Then, Rix suddenly decided to head to Tagaytay. At first we went to People’s Park where it was crowded. We just went for a walk there, down and up the side of the mountain. Did you know that they’ve got a zipline? It has been many years since I last set foot there.

Curious about the tallest ferris wheel in the country, we drove towards Sky Ranch. A long line of people was at the ticket booth for the entrance, excluding the ride tickets. The other areas of the place were still under construction so I think it’s best to wait before visiting so one could fully enjoy the Sky Fun Park. The kids got to experience the carousel, where Cayla got scared when the ride started, and also the Sky Eye, which is the name of the ferris wheel.

Hot and hungry, we had our rest and lunch at Mushroomburger.

I have created an illustration and a little story for children, born from the idea of feeding the fish in Nuvali.

the little girl and the fish

I love the poem and the illustration, Cym. Galing-galing! I do agree that the flower should have been placed somewhere else. Or pwede din behind the poem, but in a lighter color. Sayang naman ang ganda ng poem! 😀

i love the poem, it always reminds us to be responsible to Mother Nature. If we can’t take good care of the environment, who will do so? and what will happen in the coming years if we continue to abuse it.

I like the poem. You’re a whiz with the rhymes. I just wish that the flower was on the right side below the fish because it makes reading the words of the poem a little difficult.
