While I was cleaning out our bodega, I unearthed a sort of wedding anniversary card I made in 2007. I was still a work-outta-home-mommy and wife. I printed this in my workplace so it wasn’t colored. I don’t know if I still have the soft copy.
Anyway, I forgot if Rix read it or what his reaction was. So many things have happened since then. We even have three children now! But, I am sure that I love him deeper than ever. Even though there are times when this ride called marriage is bumpy, the trials serve to add depth and strengthen my faith in the Lord.
Entrusting God with what comes after
We sure need to entrust to God everything because both of us need help upholding our little family and raising our children to be God-fearing, responsible and caring.
When the kids are bigger, I hope we could go on our honeymoon. And maybe renew our vows on a romantic beach somewhere or on a cruise ship. Maybe on our silver wedding anniversary? I have to convince him, though! Haha!
