I have always dreamed of having a weekly family picnic. I think it would do the children loads of good to run on the grass, climb a few trees (maybe), and to inhale fresh air that we sorely lack here in the city. Well, a part of that dream came true when we had a family picnic fun photo-shoot one Sunday. Prior to that, my 5-year-old prayed with me to Jesus and we asked Him to please hold off the rain. And He answered our prayer! Hooray!
Although I didn’t get to eat anything while we’re on the picnic blanket, it was fun nonetheless. And yay for having a nice family portrait even if we seem busy and were not looking at the camera. From the setup to the pack-up, there were lots of chatting, laughing and eating (at least for the kids!) in between.

I hope to have a family picnic more often, if the weather permits, minus the props and with more eating action! Ha ha!
