A Mother’s Hand, Cymplified!

April 25, 2012 by ceemee

a mother's hand

A Mother’s Hand

A mother’s hand is there to carry

My weight when I was born

A mother’s hand is there to stroke

When I cry with forlorn

A mother’s hand is there to wash

Away the day’s dirt and dust

A mother’s hand is there to feed

Since being healthy is a must

A mother’s hand is there to support

When I lose balance from my walk

A mother’s hand is there to clap

When I start to babble and talk

A mother’s hand is there to soothe

When I acquire bumps and bruises

A mother’s hand is there to clean

When I made a big or small mess

A mother’s hand is there to pray

For my health and safety

A mother’s hand is there to tickle

To make me giggle and smiley

A mother’s hand is there to pull

When I don’t want to be alone

A mother’s hand is there to guide

As I try to get my homework done

A mother’s hand is there to grasp

So soft, so warm, so familiar

A mother’s hand I hope to hold

Even when I grow up and go far

About ceemee

I'm a blessed child of God, a wife and a mother to three.
