Remember my word for the year? It's 'embrace'. First up is to embrace my life's stories. One positive thing I gleaned from reading books is a desire to write one. To do this, I practice by noticing the details of my surroundings. It is helping me live in the moment more. Thus, I started with this chapter right now, Chapter January. Welcoming the new year with a... *cough*! It's January, the first week. The air is still cool, from the storm that visited the country last month, perhaps. … [Read more...]
Embracing New, Cymplified!
Happy new year! It's still January after all. We're still embracing new. Most people have no problem embracing new - new things, especially. The new year brings about new things (rather, it's Christmas that brought the new things, unless these are "regifts" or hand-me-downs). New year also brings about new experiences, which would be more reluctantly received because of the changes these entail. Unless these are new experiences by traveling! And I could never say "no" to new books. :-D The new … [Read more...]

Heroes of Olympus Series, Cymplified!
The book fair started it! With one of the books from Heroes of Olympus series. My eldest kid had an aversion to novels... Basically books without pictures, because, she found it boring. I got a free book as part of a promotion. The title was The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan. Even if the price points at the book fair were … [Read more...]
